NMVD Iasi is moving to Bucharest due to the concerning rising number of COVID-19 infection cases in Iasi County. In order to safeguard the health and safety of its participants, staff and artists, promoters decided to move NMVD’s Iasi edition (which was supposed to take place at The Secret, on the 17th of September) to Bucharest, at Control Club, on the 5th of November.

While it saddened us that we won’t be able to dance with the electronic community in Iasi (we know you’re there, we’ll do our best to meet soon), NMVD is proud to announce its first collaboration with Boiler Room for the event in Bucharest. The Boiler Room Eastern European Tour has graciously added the last NMVD party to the list, having The Hacker, Tama Sumo, Alexandru Jijian, Kosta and Club Control resident Eddie Lanzat in the lineup.

The first edition of NMVD traveling electronic music party series took place on 28th August at Combinatul Fondului Plastic in Bucharest, with Palms Trax, Man Power, Mehmet Aslan and Eddie Lanzat and the second one on 3rd September, at FORM Beach in Mamaia with DJ Tennis, Sascha Funke, Capablanca and Gemini Brothers. The events showcase a post-apocalyptic (which is not far away from reality) scenario with a variety of electronic music artists, custom made decor and wild interactive performance acts to enhance the ambiance.

The NMVD x Boiler Room edition marks the last party of the series for this year and is set to take place on 5th November, at Control Club, in Bucharest. The final lineup includes The Hacker (had a Techno phase, dipped into EBM, sci-fi tinged Electro and New Wave, but is perhaps most famous as a founding father of Electroclash), Tama Sumo (Djing since 1993, Tama Sumo has been a resident DJ at Tresor, OstGut and Panorama Bar/ Berghain, developing a varied style ranging from new and classic House to Techno including a lot of Disco, Afrobeats), Alexandru Jijian (radio show host and electronic music lover, he’s shared the stage with the likes of Jeff Mills, Miss Kittin, Marcel Dettmann, Nina Kraviz, Apparat, Chris Liebing), Kosta (DJing for the past 20 years in clubs and at festivals with a large musical spectrum from funk, disco, afro house, to personal favorites house and dark disco) and Eddie Lanzat (Control Club resident, with tracks released under labels such as Dogs & Vultures, Nein Records and Emerald and Doreen
